Mudchute Farm

Today we visited Mudchute City Farm. It's a bizarre bit of ersatz countryside within shouting distance of the evil towers of Docklands. Here's some of the characters that live there.

Out Of Focus

Went to see Pans Labyrinthe at Wired on Charlotte Street. It's ace, Bit like Company Of Wolves meets Reservoir Dogs. It was really calm and relaxing to spend some time with a very dear and very kind old friend, even if it was in the silence and darkness of a cinema.

Dull Trains

Had to lit up to Yorks again in a bit of a hurry. Everything OK now though. Sat next to this wicked suitcase on Hull Trains on the way up.

Office Move

Front started it's move today from Hoxton to Docklands. Goodbye Nathan Barley, hello yuppie scum. Here's Steve pulling a face while I take a picture of a model who came in for a casting. An old joke but still always funny.

Couple of recent pics.

Sunday Comes And Sunday Goes

Despite the nice weather I spent most of the day/night watching 24 Season 5.

Goodbye Kensington Park Road

Monster Mash

Spent the day taking pictures of men in white shirts. Then over to Kings X for swift one with Ted and Robbo. Then had a nice meal with Stef and Jon and family. Georgias guitar playing is really coming along despite the fact she has a gorillas hand attached to her right arm.

Plastic Arts

Here's some novel graffiti which uses plastic cups. Very Hoxton. And that's Jason slaving away at Darkside Photographic.

Wet Tuesday

Alexa came over and we had Sagres. The Poodle is actually a Portugese Poodle. The lady who owns it speaks to it in Portugese. Sit, stay etc. Quite cool. Maybe I should teach Taz Spanish or something.

London Falling

Just drove back to town from East Yorks in a furious, bibical, tsunami-like rain. Took the A1 which proved to be the right choice and got to London in a couple of hours then listened to The Knife while driving across town: An amazingly creepy record. It's a great relief that Taz is sorted and happy up there for a couple of weeks, my dad really loves him. At Davids now for a while, I really couldn't ask for a better friend at the moment. Alonso is the world champion but Schumacher drove like a real hero at Interlagos tonight. His performance in Brazil kept me on the edge of my seat all the way down: he drove with fury but also discipline and went for it but was totally in the zone. He should feel very proud now. He will be missed. It's funny how motor racing is more exciting on the radio.

Western Housing Concerns

Sorry for the (VERY) oblique Hood reference. Here's Mum and Dads Caravan which might well become my new home. It's got everything you need: Microwave, TV, Shower etc etc. Perous' mate James has lived in a similar van for years. Be great not to pay £1000's of pounds a month in rent. Just me and Taz down by the sea somewhere. Maybe I'll finally write a book.

Here's my wonderfull niece enjoying her Sunday lunch back in Walky.
