It was you who put the gun in my hand/ And the hate in my eye/ Then you turn and run faster when the fast bullets fly...

This week is llooonnngggg. Trudged through the editorial mud then down to the bar for Health And Happiness xmas party. Great country and western board game boys! then met a dancer on the way home who had amazing eyelashes.

I've seen the future brother: It is murder...

Shoot with JJ at Film Plus. Great to see the soon to be Daddy Mr. Neil Soni. A cold and dark wind was blowing down a deserted Portobello Road.

Walking home from Mars/ With a pocket full of stars..

New life, new life/ Operating, generating/ New life, new life...

Through the crosstown traffic and down the London Orbital to some satellite town to see the new addition to the family. Lesley made a terrific Spag Bol and the lil' bubba is so small, amazing and beautiful. Staggering actually. Really fantastic to see them all so happy. BTW Sorry about the cliche T-Shirt; I just couldn't resist...

All the lights are changing red to green/ Moving through the crowd I'm pushing/ Chemicals all rushing through my bloodstream..

Heavenly Recordings had the annual Xmas party on the HMS English Rose just across the water from the towers of power. As always it was brilliant and we SET THE CONTROLS FOR THE HEART OF THE SUN...I peaked a little early and am still a little upset that I missed perouinc.com and the new Leica convert Mr. Che Storey who arrived at my behest sadly shortly after I split suffering with - well, actually loving - my head being full of supernovas...think I made a new friend too.

It was Christmas Eve babe/ In the drunk tank/ An old man said to me, won't see another one...

Over to Viceland to join the Hoxton lumberjacks at The Old Blue Last. Mr. David Yow's (ex of Scratch Acid and The Jesus Lizard) new crew Qui played upstairs. Good to see Heavy Metal Tony and Alison again. For more musings have a look at http://www.caughtbytheriver.net if you can be bothered.

MY brother fear is only natural/ You need to chill your fucking bones....

I have the best parking space in town. Met the brilliant Ms. Gizzi Erskine for lunch at the bar (btw where are the pies? i keep promising people...) later Wasted Youth Sarah threw an office party and in attendance was the legend Colonel Tom Sheehan of The Confederate Air Force (Rebel Field, Texas) Seems party season is in full swing.

Sometimes have my breakfast right/ Off of a mirror/ And sometimes I have it/ Right out of a bottle/ Come on..

MR. J SPACEMAN and his outfit SPIRTUALIZED ACOUSTIC MAINLINE played the Union Chapel and it gave me a heavy case of the holy shakes.

I'll bring you precious contraband/ And ancient tales from distant lands/ Of conquerors and concubines / And Conjurers from darker times..

1965 Records had an Xmas party. Great Stuff from Mr. DERECK MIEMS, THE METROS, THE DRAYTONES and THE VIEW etc. Left the party for a couple of hours to celebrate Kaysie's birthday at Kensington Place. DJ RAF DADDY was dressed as Rudolf The Red Nosed Sex Offender. For more check out http://web.mac.com/tomoland/Site/Bad_Santas.html

Well I hope that someday buddy/ We'll have peace in our lives...

The dark lords of the 'Hirsute Handlebar Moustache Society' gathered at The Windsor Castle in Baker Street and were duly lit up for Socialism Magazine and our various side projects. More importantly my cousin Marie Louise gave birth this morning to Caitlin Isobel (very cool name) and all are well. Photo of Caitlin by Major Craig Manley.

Thats all I ever tried to do/ Is sing the New York City blues/ And this ain't no joke to me/ See, buddy, I believe..

The scene of a recent murder in Streatham that I drove past early this morning and the reverse alien cash machine orbs that are floating above Regent Street sucking everyone's money out of their bank accounts. 100 million per day and counting. BTW thanks for dropping by little Interpol people but, please, DO NOT STEAL MY PICTURES. I take this stuff quite serious.

Some kind of saviour singing the blues/ A derelict in your duct tape shoes/ Your orphan clothes and your long dark hair/ Looking like you didn't care

Empty Sunday loomed so headed down to the Perou Farm then lunch at the Red Lion. The landlord (who insists on being called 'The Innkeeper') fined us for using mobile phones and cameras but it was only a pound for each offense so it was fine because we are quite rich (sort of) Back at the ranch Maximum and I built a Lego Cement Mixer which was really relaxing and the most fun I've had in ages, Staunch Saab did not put a foot wrong. I love my new ride. It's good to be back on winter wet motorways listening to dark music in a fast Swedish car....

I ain't choose the rhyme/ Rhyming chose me/ So I hit the track running/ Just like a nose bleed...

Jackie S took me ponce candle shopping at Selfridges lunchtime then the intense BLONDE REDHEAD opened for the almighty INTERPOL at Alexandra Palace. They played 'C'mere' while I was still in the photo pit which was moving, stunning and amazing. We fled the aftershow and ended up at The Soho Hotel with Noodles, TK1, old acquaintance Mr Daniel Kessler and new pal Mr Josh Hartnett.
