Suf Folk
Eschewing the closing parties on party island Dailytitlow and I headed to East Anglia for annual Halesworth weekend. Much brown booze and buzzing about the countryside Lovejoy style in that heap of rust and rattles of a death trap that is the 1971 Triumph Spitfire ensued. It is possible that the elderly gentleman who walked into the Cross Keys in Aldeburgh on Sunday lunchtime was in fact General Chuck Yeager (the first man to break the sound barrier who flew out of nearby Leiston during the war) but this has yet to be confirmed....

No-Ho 4-0
I turned 40 on Monday and there was a party at the bar. I had the best birthday of my ever extending life and thank you for all your messages, presents, love, playing records and attendance. Also I am sorry to my fellow diarists for stealing a couple of shots for this post because mine were mostly awful. I have my own plaque at the bar now thanks to my best unbeaten brothers Danny and Carl. My very special love and thanks goes out to the love of my life Lady Claire Kleines Kilcourse as always.
