Dreading Festival 2010

Down the M4 corridor to the Reading festival intending to sit a field while smoking and complaining. Ended up having an amazing time thanks to Weezer (Surfwax America was the highlight of the festival season and we went metal watching it with We Are Scientists) and the higher, faster, longer, louder Klaxons! Sea is foaming like a bottle of beer etc etc

Some recent activity. Claire is totally fine now btw. I firmly believe that no-one will ever write a song as perfect as 'Another Girl, Another Planet' by The Only Ones.

Edwyn Collins At The 100 Club

Edwyn and friends played The 100 Club last night. It was as amazing as expected. Surreal moment watching Paul Cook admire the prints of The Sex Pistols playing there in 1976 which adorn the walls.

Another amazing weekend down at St Germans with the Caught By The River gang. Too many highlights to mention of course but a few were; Cherry Ghost; Chris Watson's Nature Disco; Danny And The Champs; Belini Boat Bar; Vodka up at the big house; Pulling pints of Doom Bar; Talking Demi Glace with Hugh FW etc etc. You must all come next year. Many thanks to Louis and family and the super staunch Kieran, Elly, Ben and Candy. Great to have Ruby May and Pip down there with us as the newest members of the Heavenly family.
