Museo de la Aviacion Naval
Last night we met Roldi in a bar and this morning he took us to the Naval Aviation museum in Bahia Blanca (this is a big Navy town) it was closed but as Roldi´s father flew for the Argentine navy (there is a street named after him here) they opened up especially for us. A real privilage and honour. Amazing place to visit. The white helmet and union jack were taken from Port Stanley and remain in the museum (Titlow wanted to steal them and return them to the Queen) really amazed by the bravery and heroism of the Argentine pilots (those that survived are national heroes now and many of them live here in Bahia Blanca) The kill markings are from the side of a Super Etende Dart that fired the exocets that sank HMS Sheffield and the Atlantic Conveyor.

Felices Fiestas
Spent Xmas morning drinking coffee on the beach with Sebastian (and his dog Simone) then barbecued a chicken (no turkey here) in bed by 8, a very mellow christmas. David got me an ace Sepultura T-shirt. "Roots Bloody Roots" by Sepultura is the soundtrack to this trip. Moving on again tomorrow down south.

Uno Mass Por Favor
Hola! think i might have finally worked out how to update from the Argie Boonies. Things are ace here. Will try and put some more stuff up soon but connectivity is sparodic. Peace on earth to everyone. Sounds like England has turned into the 19th century in our absence. What with thick fogs and Jack The Ripper types (everybody here is also obsessed with the Sussex hooker murders)

Soy Un Perdedor
Final day in BA before Mar Del Platta tonight. Keyhole kate and her dad invited us to the grand opening of the new hotel last night (in exchange for us taking some pictures)good laugh and we met some of the great and the good of Buenos Aires. Tango, Bifsteak etc. Starting to get into that travel headspace now, rest, motion, living day by day. Hope everything is good with everyone back home.

Ritual De Lo Habitual
Buenos Aires day 3 and we finally found The Cafe Eichmann. It´s called the ABC Beer Hall and it´s on Lavelles Street downtown. Proper German joint. On our way to the coast tomorrow on the train, Buenos Aires is very hot today and it´ll be good to get out of the city. It´s brilliant to send some time in a city where people sit all night playing chess or reading great works of literature rather than binge drinking, fighting, and crying and throwing up in minicabs as seems to be the rule back in London.

Toma La Bueno
Here in BA. Brilliant town. Met a girl called Kate on the plane from Miami and her father kindly gave us a lift to our hotel from the airport then we all went out for dinner (massive steaks!) BA is like a European city in the 1960´s. Very elegant and slightly shabby at the same time. Sadly Boca Juniors lost 2-1 last night which is like a knife through the heart for everyone in this city....

Goodbye Piccadilly
Farewell Leicester Square. Final prep for Argentina is underway. Still managed to find time, however, to hang out for a while at Borough Market with Stef, Jon, Alexa, Keith etc.. really ace to see everyone before taking off. Tomorrow is a day of waiting and flying.....bring on the travel....I hope I will be able to update from over there but it might be a little sparodic. Please keep checking in. See you all on the other side.
W1 and on and on....
Hectic day running around town preparing, saw the Front lot and picked a cheque up then lunch at the Acid House Woolpack with the Heavenly mob. Then back to the bar to see Ted and Paul..London was cold and wet today and the crowds seemed drunk and stressed. Am looking forward to getting away but will miss the city at xmas.
